1. How do I book my session?

2. Do you use photoshop to change how people look in your photos?
Our belief is that everyone's natural beauty is already perfect. In our photography, we aim to capture your genuine self, especially during those carefree and joyful moments when you are least aware of the camera. We do not use Photoshop to alter your height or weight. Our editing process is designed to keep the photos as authentic and true to your real, memorable experiences as possible.
3. Do you suggest a location for our outdoor session or should we pick up?
During our pre-session consulting call, we will talk about what kind of book you are going for and whether you have a preference for a nature setting, beach or urban look. We have several favourite location that I know photograph well but we're also open to your suggestions.
4. What if we can't do our outdoor session on our scheduled day due to unforeseen bad weather or child's health?
Rest assured, We will quickly reschedule and get it done. We've been shooting long enough in Brisbane and Gold Coast to know the weather is unpredictable and sometimes we all need to be flexible. Typically, we wait until the evening until before or the morning of a scheduled appointment to evaluate poor weather conditions and make back-up arrangements for our session.
5. What should my family wear to our photo session?
We will guide you towards making wardrobe choices for you and your family to make sure the final product is truly perfect given the location and the personality of your family. We will talk about it during our pre-session planning call. Generally speaking modern, casual yet chic, uncluttered with a touch of subtle elegance works great with our style of photography.
6. I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. Can you make me look good?
Absolutely. In fact, most of my subjects feel uncomfortable and part of the magic being able to relax everyone and bring out their best. We have years of experience in portrait photography and know many techniques and best angle. You can be assured we'll capture you in the most flattering light and pose. We'll give you tips and guide you through the process if at all needed. We will have a great time and you will look awesome.
7. How long after the session will our proofing gallery be ready?
It typically takes 2-3 weeks after the session for your proofing gallery to be ready. Your proofing gallery is password protected and shared with you online.
8. Do you do retouching and what does in detail?
Usually, our photos need little retouching and often look great with colour correction and added contrast, which I provide as part of our packages. When we do retouch images per request, we adhere to the adage, less is more. Retouching is $50 extra per 10 images.
9. How far out do you book?
We typically book out 4-8 weeks in advance. Although this increases during the fall. This is by far the busiest time of year so if you are looking for a particular date, please let us know in advance.
10. Do we receive the raw, unedited files?
No, The raw, unedited files aren't available for viewing or purchase. The images selected for editing are images that we're proud of and represent our high expectations. Please know that any images not delivered were not up to our standards and so therefore would not be appealing to you either.
